I think the really reason Elena killed Connor mostly lied with her being sired to Damon and that she hated Conner for making Stephan keep a secret form her but either way Elena sucks at making decisions. She claims she killed Conner for putting Jeremy in danger but let’s not forget that Damon killed Jeremy yet Elena seemed to have forgave him. Ok again sorry for going of the rails but back to Elena’s fault in conners death, now the reason I think Elena has also a lot of the fault for conners death is because she didn’t trust Stephan enough to keep him alive. Ok the whole Conner death, I believe Damon had a major fault in this because not only did he not trust his brother but Elena was sired to him, so what ever he desired Elena would do so the majority of the fault for Conner death goes to Damon, which is another character I HATE. Elena has made a lot of questionable decisions, from giving herself to Klaus so he can take her blood which achieved NOTHING, from sending Jeremy away which not only put him in danger but also achieved NOTHING, from killing Conner the hunter. The only character that I would trust to make a good decision is again the legendary witch, Bonnie Bennett.īut back to Elena. DAMN THESE CHARACTERS CANT MAKE ANY RIGHT DECISIONS. Now I don’t know how many of you have actually watched the vampire diaries but less pick the show a part but I be thinking to myself. Now before I go on another rant, I wanna clarify that this one, a lot of character in the vampire diaries do, and that is their amazing ability to make horrible decisions. Although it might have something to do with the fact that she was sired to Damon while a vampire but it still doesn’t sit right with me.ģrd thing I hate about Elena. She claims to love Stephan but the moment he does something that doesn’t sit right with her, she punishes him. It’s like Elena is only driven by her selfish needs, cuz lets be honestly the only reason she still likes Damon is because she likes getting dick from him. Which pisses me of, cuz like bitch did you forgot all the HORRIBLE things that Damon did? Cause I sure haven’t. In the fourth season she gets mad at Stephan for hiding a secret from her. The 2nd thing I hate about Elena is her horrible character judgment. Also I didn’t forget her little evil vampire arc she had but also Caroline clearly states that Elena and Stephan low key inspired her to turn of her emotions. Yet she remains strong and just an awesome character, I don’t know how Damon or Stephan didn’t fall for her cause damn, I sure would’ve.īack to Elena’s horrible self control, everything got much worse when she become a vampire, yeah I know that when you become a vampire your emotions are amplified, BUT Caroline is a good example of what a vampire at its best can be, I mean she has extremely good self control and she uses her new abilities for good, let’s not forgot she lost her dad and also when she killed someone, she didn’t go cry about or turned off her emotions, she remained sane. I know that she supposed to be in her teens but honestly all her friends who are also teens have better self control than she does, for example the legendary witch, Bonnie Bennett, who has gone through much worse than Elena and has sacrificed a lot for her friends and Elena. So I recently started rewatching the vampire diaries for the 5th time, and I’ve started to noticed that every time I rewatch it, I grow to hate Elena Gilbert and notice how much of a dumb character she is.įirst of all she is a emotional wreck.
